The Grace College School of Business is pleased to present the sixth annual Executive Forum, “Giving Back to the Community,” on Monday, Nov. 20, from 8 a.m. – 11:45 a.m., at the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center, 610 Wooster Rd., Winona Lake. Doors open at 8 a.m. for check-in and continental breakfast. Tickets are $30 per person and can be purchased here.
Rep. Jim Banks, Indiana’s Third District Congressman and resident of Columbia City, Ind., will give the forum’s keynote address. Rich Haddad, president and CEO of the K12 Foundation in Warsaw, Ind., will moderate the forum. Four panelists will offer their unique perspective on community engagement: John Sampson, president and CEO of Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership; Suzanne Light, executive director of the Kosciusko County Community Foundation; Kelly Byrd, director of leadership and personal growth at Sweetwater Sound; and Steve Longbrake, director of business development at Silveus Insurance Group, Inc.

The annual tree lighting ceremony in the Village at Winona will take place Saturday, Nov. 25 from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. Festivities will include train rides for all ages, ornament crafts for children, cookies and hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa Claus. The final Festival of Music event will coincide with the tree lighting ceremony as the Lakeland Community Chorus provides caroling throughout the evening. For more information, visit here.
An alternative Christmas shopping experience, Night Market will take place on Friday, Dec. 8 from 2 - 8 p.m. in the Winona Heritage Room. Student and community vendors will offer gifts that give back, including fairly-made products and sales that support a variety of causes. Items for sale include home décor, jewelry, clothing, toys and much more. Live music and food will also be offered.
